For the past 20 years I have been focusing my work on western
landscapes.
Today I paint with acrylics on canvas. I do photographic
research then work on a fairly large-scale canvas in my studio. One of my
favorite feelings is standing in a secluded spot in
I have shown my work at many state and National juried shows as
well as solo shows in Galleries within my county. I have also created
commission work of landscapes and charcoal portraits. I knew at an early age I
wanted to draw and paint and have come to realize over the years that I will
spend my life learning how to paint. Painting is not merely a choice, more an
essential part of who I am. And in the end, I will have just scratched the
surface of learning how to see, how to paint. I respect the art and always
accept the task with a very honest approach; drawings and an understanding of
local colors are what I have learned so far.
